The Montrose Water bottle is a parody/satire product created for HAM Cycles. The product parodies Topo Chico, a popular mineral water here in Texas.
Execution of the parody meant imagining how the Topo Chico ‘typeface’ might look if the original designers had created a full alphabet. Additional design considerations were required for the body typeface that I didn’t have access to, as well as the top center circle graphic.
Included below is a breakdown of how the Topo Chico typeface was reimagined to suit HAM Cycles using the existing design language.
